Release plans for Spearhand Faring

I've nearly finished the first draft of Spearhand Faring. That doesn't mean that the poem's done: plenty of editing remains. But it's a big step forward. This milestone also makes for a good moment to talk about my provisional release plans.

• First, I expect to stream live readings of the poem, as I did with Cosmic Warlord Kin-Bright.
• The live recordings will stay publicly available for a week or two, but their availability will have a time limit.
• Once the poem has been streamed, I will make it available on Itch in PDF, EPUB, and mp3.
• However, there won't be a free version of the whole poem on Itch. I don't expect to charge a high price, but access will be paid-only.

This is different to CWKB, which will remain available in full for free. I hope that assembling an audiobook version of Spearhand Faring, which is shorter, will help me assess whether I can make a proper audiobook of CWKB.

All of these plans are provisional, and may change, depending on my health, how much work I have in the rest of my life, and any shifts in my views of what I should do. But this is the plan at present, and I hope to release Spearhand Faring within 2025.
